We have officially launched GHD’s Health & Wellness Library’s NEW: Mobile Outreach Library — bringing reliable and authoritative health information directly to the East County community.

More than just a library on wheels, this new service will allow residents of the District living in our more remote and rural areas the ability to access our services without having to travel to our physical location here in La Mesa. Regular weekly stops are scheduled throughout the Grossmont Healthcare District, including locations in El Cajon, Santee, Campo, Lakeside, Spring Valley, Lemon Grove, Alpine, Mountain Empire, and more. See the schedule below. At the Mobile Outreach Library, you’ll be able to sign up for a GHD Health & Wellness Library Card and connect with Library staff to pick up free, reliable health information as well as check your blood pressure and learn how to access its collection of e-books, e-magazines, and online resources from anywhere!
